Landen Lewis Earns First CARS LMSC Tour Victory at Wake County

A quiet rookie year for Landen Lewis on the zMAX CARS LMSC Tour got a much-needed jolt in Saturday’s Drive for Puryear 125 at Wake County Speedway.

Entering the weekend with only two top 10s through seven starts, Lewis utilized his experience in Legends car at Wake County to put together the best Late Model Stock race of his career to date. After methodically saving his tires, Lewis capitalized on a late restart to take control of the lead and secure a cathartic win.

Lewis’ triumph capped off a stellar end to August for Kevin Harvick Inc. His teammate Brent Crews was just one week removed from picking up his third victory of 2024 at the end of a wild outing at Ace SpeedwayComposure, maturity pay dividends for Landen Lewis

After spending six hours turning his first laps in a Super Late Model, Kevin Harvick sent a cooler of Busch Light around the Five Flags Speedway infield for anyone who wanted to partake and then spent almost an hour shooting the breeze with anyone who packed up early.



Kevin Harvick Returns to Late Model Competition

Harvick will Pilot the No. 62 Chevrolet at Five Flags Speedway and North Wilkesboro Speedway 

Harrisburg, N.C. (June 4, 2024) – Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today team co-owner Kevin Harvick will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 62 Chevrolet at Five Flags Speedway on June 28, 2024, and North Wilkesboro Speedway on August 3, 2024. 

To kick off his return to Late Model competition, Harvick will rejoin former partner Busch Light for the Super Late Model race at Five Flags Speedway. With a relationship spanning more than a decade, Busch Light, Anheuser-Busch and Harvick are no stranger to each other, amassing multiple wins and the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series championship.
