This weekend at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Kevin Harvick and the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Nationwide Series team will be representing Vet
erans of Foreign Wars (VFW) both on and off the track. VFW will be the primary sponsor for the team this weekend and will be honoring our troops with hospitality, tickets to the race and hosting members of the military who have earned Purple Heart status. VFW has also partnered with the track to include VFW members in the pre-race activities. SPRAGUE MEETS HONORARY PIT
CREW MEMBERS AT MEMPHIS
Jack Sprague, driver of the No. 2 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) American Commercial Lines (ACL) Chevrolet, met with lucky winner Glenda Arnold and her guest outside the No. 2 hauler in the NASCAR Truck Series garage area at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park. Sprague signed autographs and posed for a quick snap-shot with the couple. Arnold was the winner of a contest promoted by MMP to be “Honorary Pit Crew Member” for a day. She submitted a 3x5 card and was chosen to be paired with Sprague and the No. 2 ACL team for the weekend. Arnold attended the driver’s meeting and driver introductions and was given a tour of the No. 2 hauler. During the race, she stood behind the pit box and cheered on Sprague as he made a come-from-behind run to finish sixth in the O’Reilly 200.
